CLI Guide

Requires Node.js 22 or newer and npm. No repository checkout or build is needed.

Install

Without a global installation, replace geodd with npx @geodd/cli@latest.

Browse Models and Prices

No sign-in required. Use an exact model ID from models list for details and prices.

Sign In

Complete Google sign-in and any required two-factor verification in the browser on the same computer. New users can run geodd auth signup instead.

If the browser does not open, run geodd auth login --no-browser and open the complete printed URL on that computer.

Create an API Key

Sign in first, then fetch the model IDs accepted by key commands:

geodd models list --for-keys --json

Replace MODEL_ID with an entry's id, not its name or public inference ID. Choose a globally unique key name using 1-32 letters, numbers, or dashes.

geodd keys create --name my-agent-key --model MODEL_ID --json

Review the confirmation before approving. Creation uses PostPaid billing; the default monthly capacity is 3,000,000,000 tokens, not a spending cap. Override capacity with --monthly-volume if needed.

Save the returned one-time apiKey securely and retain its keyId for updates. In the JSON creation response, these are data.data.apiKey and data.data.keyId. The CLI does not save the key secret. Do not blindly retry creation after a timeout.

Update a Key's Models

Replace KEY_ID with the saved keyId, not the secret. Replace each model placeholder with an ID from models list --for-keys.

For scripts, add --yes --json to explicitly approve a create or update operation. Keep secret-bearing output out of shared logs. There is no geodd keys list command.

Sign Out, Update, or Remove

Run the command for the action you need:

Logout removes the selected API origin's local session; it does not revoke backend sessions, unset environment tokens, or delete API keys. Uninstalling does not sign you out. Add --help to any command for its options.

Release note: npm currently serves 0.1.1. OS credential storage and disabled key rotation/deletion are pending the 0.1.2 release; installing latest does not provide those changes until publication.
